The 2011 Fundraiser, on July 9, was a
Wine Tasting and Silent Auction !
It was indeed a fun afternoon with food, good wines, blind tastings (a contest!), prizes and Silent Auction.
Gary Scott, of Ramona and the Miata Club, was the Grand Prize winner for the wine tasting.
Other guests went home with some great items from the silent auction.
And, you can still - Raise a Guinness for Gregg!
On the sixth anniversary of Gregg's passing, we asked family and friends to raise a symbolic Guinness in his honor! It's not too late, go to our Facebook Cause page, and make a small donation ($5.00! - cost of one beer. . .or a latte if you prefer!) to the scholarship fund!

World Cup/Car Rally - Sunday, June 13, 2010
- This event was put on in conjunction with the San Diego Miata Club, as well as the Garon - Balderrama extended families.
- Four teams of cars (and drivers) : England, Brazil, New Zealand and Germany "competed" in the Rally - which was a great success and helped us give out four scholarships this year!
- The Champions were New Zealand, but everyone did a great job and had fun. The England team, decked out in uniforms, balls, whistles, cheers, won the Special Recognition for their team spirit.
Sue Hinkle was the day's MVP!
RAFFLE Winners :
1st prize - weekend condo in Lake Tahoe Dyanna Smith
2nd prizes - Sea World tix OR "Geri" bags for Miatas - the Hunts
Other prizes - Movie tix, theater tix, Sony walkman, etc.
